The Viper 5 is the successor of the Viper 4 and has been further developed with, among other things, the following techniques:
A new three-layer superstructure with a soft mesh at the bottom, towards the foot, with microfiber reinforced areas, closed with a thin TPU film. This ensures a good fit and a smooth and stiff construction that holds the foot in place.
The RunLite2 ™ is in the sole and is made of special EVA foam. This creates a so-called “energy recoil” at every step that makes you run lighter, as it were.
This anatomically shaped heelcup is longer than the average heelcup and contributes to a better fit and more comfort.
A larger curve (rollbar) on the inside of the outsole facilitates the inward rolling and depositing of the foot. The result is great stability with fast movements and less chance of injuries.
This is a so-called torsion-guide system (TGS) that provides more flexibility to stimulate the natural movements of the foot. TGS 62/75 takes into account all walking cycle criteria. At the same time, it eases the stresses caused by friction during lateral movements. The shoe bends exactly in the right place and stimulates the natural lateral and forward movements of the foot.
The Viper 5 has an extra wide sole at the front, which reduces ankle injuries.
